The space
You will enjoy spectacular views of both the ocean and marsh in this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath custom home which comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. There is a pull-out sofa so that 16 can sleep. Your private pool is perfect for relaxing and entertaining and you are just steps from the beach with endless beach towels and beach supplies provided! Tiger Pride is conveniently located directly between 2 public beach accesses.

You will appreciate the convenience of an elevator that takes you from the covered parking/pool area to the first and second floors … makes for very easy unloading of your vehicle rather than hiking your belongings up 2-3 flights of stairs like other short-term rentals on the island. The first floor (middle) offers a sitting/entry area, 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. The second floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well-equipped, fully stocked kitchen, a level bar area with seating for 6, and a lovely dining area that seats 10 people comfortably. This dining room table is unusual as many other home rentals offer fewer seatings.

Relax in the inviting great room with views of the ocean. There is a full-size laundry room with a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. There is also a second master bedroom with a private bath with marsh views and a common half bath off the kitchen as well. There are various decks and covered porches from which you’ll enjoy taking in the view, watching the coastal wildlife, dining, and entertaining.

Our kitchen is fully stocked like no other! You have at your fingertips a fully-stocked coffee bar with all the trimmings, copious pots and pans, endless glassware, poolware, and a top-notch BBQ utensil set.

A gas grill is available for your use alongside the pool deck as well as a built-in bar area with a mini-fridge. An outdoor shower is located on the ground floor to wash the sand away at the end of the day. Take in magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the ocean right from the front or back porch.

Stay connected and entertained with 7 flat-screen TVs, WiFi, and a Sonos Surround Sound Speaker system. (Which streams music into the pool area, living room, and front balcony!) We also have 2 bikes for you to enjoy strolling around the island. This property is great for off-season golf and Oyster Fest weekends!! With all of its detailed features, this home is the vacation retreat you and your guests have been looking for. Laundry Room: Full-sized washer and dryer, and copious beach/pool towels supplied for your use during your stay to help save space while packing!

Beach & Pool Supply Room: Packed with 10 beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach wagon, a large cooler, beach/pool toys, pool noodles, and floats (we like to think of all the details to help make your stay enjoyable 😉 Plus! There are two bikes!

Private Pool Area: Enjoy this wonderful, large pool in your own backyard (no having to share with anyone else!) with lounge chairs, and additional seating with an outdoor dining table and 6 chairs. This is where you will find the large gas BBQ. Grilling utensils are provided and can be found in the kitchen. The pool is heated naturally by the hot summer sun. However, if you would like it heated, you may at a $125 daily fee.

Golf Carts are Welcome! Rent an electric golf cart locally and charge it easily in the large carport area. You are provided with suggestions on where to rent when you book. We also include the city of OIB golf cart rules and regulations and a map of where you can drive – and can’t drive – a golf cart to help you easily get around. TIP: Golf cart companies will deliver and pick up the golf cart for you!

Note: There is not a hot tub.

* Whole house to yourselves with a unique code for the door keypad. Your unique door code is messaged to you just before check-in in the Airbnb messaging app.

Other things to note
*Unlike many local vacation rentals, we professionally wash quilts (beyond just the sheets) after every guest for a truly fresh stay.

*We HIGHLY recommend trip insurance, especially during hurricane season. We are unable to provide a refund due to storms, hurricanes, illness, COVID, etc.

*Heated Pool available at an additional cost of $125 per night — to heat the pool. Please note that the pool is heated to 86 degrees, and while it does not feel like a hot bathtub, it does get warm. It takes approximately 6-8 hours for the pool to heat, depending on the starting temperature and the temperature outside.

*There is no hot tub.

*The base price is for 12 adult guests (or a combination of adults and children). A guest count of 13 or 14 will be charged an additional fee, as extra cleaning and laundry are required by the cleaning team.

*Our cleaning team uses fragrant products to maintain a fresh and inviting space. While many appreciate this, we understand that fragrance sensitivities vary.

*To accommodate all guests, we provide laundry detergent for your use. If you prefer fragrance-free laundry products, we kindly request that you bring your own for your personal items.

*Please Note: This is a very nice home that is well-appointed and in excellent condition. If you are looking for a free stay and to take advantage, please do not choose this rental, as you will not be reimbursed.
